Questions. 1] How many songs did the Beatles compose ? |
|
Paul McCartney is a very famous English musician and singer. In the 1960s, McCartney was one of the Beatles, with John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. They composed over two hundred songs and recorded thirteen albums in a ten-year period. They were incredibly famous. They separated in 1970. Paul McCartney (as well as the others) continued as a solo artist, and was very popular. He formed a new band, the Wings, and they had a lot of success. They played together until 1980. After that, McCartney decided to sing solo. He performed in hundreds of concerts, and he made twenty-five rock 'n' roll and pop music albums between 1970 and today, as well as some classical music records. He composed his latest record in 2018. He is now seventy-eight (he was born in 1942), and he is still composing and singing. He was on tour when the Covid-19 pandemic forced him to cancel his concerts. He appeared in the television and internet "Together at home" concert that Lady Gaga organised on April 18th to support nurses all over the world, and he sang"Lady Madonna", a Beatles' song that he wrote about his mother, who was a hospital nurse. |
