Tessa Cox lives in the south of England. She is a nurse; she works in a hospital in Guildford, in the county of Surrey. She also teaches at a nursing school in the town where she lives, Farnborough.
    She is married and she has two children, Sharon and David. Her daughter Sharon lives in the U.S.A., so she does not see her very often. Sharon is a primary school teacher in Chicago. She only visits her parents once a year because the plane tickets are expensive, but she sees them on webcam very regularly. Tessa and Stuart's son David lives near their place. He works at a hospital too : he is a nurse just like his mother. They see him very often, and Stuart usually plays tennis and badminton with him every week-end (except when David needs to work).
    Stuart Cox is nearly seventy, and he does not work : he is a retired teacher. But he gives lessons to immigrant children and young people who do not speak English, or need reading lessons. He does all the housework, and he plays a lot of tennis. He is always very busy !
